Recently, all of the URLs typically listed under “Page Banner was Clicked From” in ShareASale’s Activity Details Report were blank. This was frustrating because we at the Wine Club Group use that data to determine which pages are converting.
Thankfully, the fix was very easy.
The same time we lost this information, we also converted our site to full https (thanks to Tricia for making this connection!). But our ShareASale affiliate links were still going to the http URL. In fact, getting new links from ShareASale still give me the http version:
To fix this, just change your ShareASale links from http to https and you’ll regain the “Page Banner was Clicked From” information.
