I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Full disclaimer: I’m FMTC’s CTO and product manager for FMTC’s Publisher Toolkit. I don’t pay for my access (but would if I didn’t get it for free).
FMTC aggregates, verifies, standardizes and adds meta data to coupons and deals from over 10,000 merchants and provides that data via API to enterprise customers. But FMTC’s Publisher Toolkit gives that same data to publishers and bloggers at a fraction of the price (starting at $7.99 / month).
Deal Alert E-mails
The other day I received an e-mail from Publisher Toolkit, “New Deals from your Favorite Merchants.” See with Publisher Toolkit, I can select my favorite merchants and when FMTC adds a new deal for them, I get an email.
- At the free level you can only choose 1 merchant
- At Lite you can pick 5 merchants
- Standard (my level, and the one I’d pay for if I didn’t get it for free) 20 merchants and get updates 2x / day
- Premium choose up to 100 merchants and receive alerts up to 4x / day
The email was simple:
The California Wine Club, one of the merchants I promote via Wine Club Group, had a new deal. Ordinarily, I’d have to sift through hundreds of network emails and hope I saw notifications from the merchants I care about (and hope the merchant or OPM sent an email about this new deal) but with FMTC’s Publisher Toolkit, I just choose which merchants I want to be emailed about when they have new deals and look for one email from FMTC.
Once I clicked on the link in my email (“See all deals from The California Wine Club”) , I was able to see all of the deals from The California Wine Club and from Publisher Toolkit get my affiliate link with my affiliate ID in there.
From this Deal Alert email, I was notified The California Wine Club had a free shipping deal and was able to make this blog post.
Why Use Publisher Toolkit for Deal Alerts?
I use Publisher Toolkit for 2 niches: Wine Clubs and Cloud Backups. I selected all of the wine club and cloud backup providers that I promote and instead of searching through my CJ, ShareASale, Rakuten Linkshare and every other piece of mail I can just look for the Deal Alert from FMTC’s Publisher Toolkit and every day review the new offers from these merchants.
Publisher Toolkit’s Affiliate Program
FMTC’s Publisher Toolkit also has an affiliate program. By referring users you’re paid 100% of their first month’s payment or 15% if they choose an annual subscription. Join now on ShareASale.
