I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Affiliate Summit West is just about 3 months away, and the board is working on putting together a session schedule. Once again, they’re looking for attendee input, allowing you to vote on what sessions you’d like to see. You can vote at affiliatesummit.slinkset.com (you have to register, but if you voted last time, it’s the same system, so you’re already registered!) Here are some highlights:
I’m going to start with the obvious. If this panel is chosen to present at Affiliate Summit, you’ll find me in this room, because I’m on the panel! Won’t you vote for me, please? 🙂
I’m interested in this session for a few reasons – I want to make one of my blogs more influential, and I want to improve on my own blog here at ericnagel.com.
I’ve had success in this before, and would like to hear what this all-star line-up has to say about using current trends for niche selection.
Because… who doesn’t want to?
I work really well with some AMs, and others don’t even know my name. This industry is all about relationships, so building stronger relationships will help you build a stronger business.
Local still intrigues me; can it work if I’m in a small market like Buffalo? Angel is one smart guy; I had the pleasure of having breakfast with him at the airport after ASW10 and he’s just full of knowledge. Can’t wait to listen to him again.
Can’t wait for this session – this is a question I get all the time: “how do I monetize X?” Well, let’s see how these industry veterans handle the audience quesitons.
It’s Wil Reynolds. Go see him speak. I don’t care if the Pope & the President are debating in the next room, you’ll get more valuable knowledge from Wil.
I’m kinda interested to see how Matt McWilliams is going to present if he’s not going to be there. Also, “Media Buy” = AdWare to so many people, it should make for some good “conversation”
I know the travel niche can be huge – I want to know more.
Because I want to sell BillyMays.TV (any takers?)
I’m in one, and it’s not quite what I expected (sorry, guys). I hope to make it better

Any of the sessions I don’t want to see, I voted them down (no hard feelings). Also, if the session titles or descriptions had “…” in them because the person submitting it couldn’t follow directions, I probably voted it down. I’m a stickler for the rules.
