This is a great event, traditionally held in Q4 by wisely moved to the generally slower Q2 this year. I was lucky enough to get to attend the ThinkTank 2010 event, and will not only be attending this one, but also speaking at the “Deep Dish Datafeeds” session.
ThinkTank starts Wednesday night with the OPM event, held at the Epic Restaurant and Rooftop Sky Lounge from 7-10pm. I’m really looking forward to seeing some of my OPM friends and talking to them about their programs. It’s funny – some OPMs won’t even say hi to me, and for others, we’re great friends & business colleagues.
Thursday starts with sessions, then one-on-one merchant meetings. I’m looking forward to meeting with A Christmas Story House, as I’m a huge fan. Thursday night is a “free” night, but Jason and I are doing a #GetSome Whiteboarding session from 6-9pm (with Chicago pizza served) then heading out afterwards. If you’re interested in attending, let me know!
Friday we all get to bitch to Brian about what’s broken at ShareASale (like when I click on merchant details, if I’m already joined, I shouldn’t have the join link, but rather that should change to “Get Links”) and then we’re heading off to the Pirates / Cubs game.
This is my first trip via train, which is also pretty exciting, but I’m really looking forward to seeing many good friends, like Jason, Todd, Tricia and Greg.
Oh, and you, too!
If you haven’t registered yet, let me pay for your ticket. Normally $50, if you enter your name (or email – somehow I can identify it’s you) then click on the link, the affiliate tracking will be set with your info, and when I see you at ThinkTank, I’ll hand you a crisp $50 bill.
Remember, you’re only getting your money back if you actually show up, and the tracking has to work, so maybe clear your cookies?
Who’s joining me in Chicago at ThinkTank? And if you’re interested, let me know if you want to attend the #GetSome whiteboarding session on Thursday night
